Lake District, North-west England, South-west Scotland
and the Scottish Borders.

| Lakeside
Castings is run by Phil McKay. Phil started as a film
and TV extra before working at BBC Radio Carlisle in
the early 80s. He then moved to Border Television where
he presented his own T.V show, Pick a Number which he
wrote and devised. |

| The
show was bought by Grampian Television where it ran
for 10 years and was the franchise’s top-rated
TV programme. |
| |
| During
his time in Aberdeen, Phil worked as Programme Associate
for Pick a Number which he also presented as a live
roadshow throughout Scotland. As well as recording trailers/
links and the Annual Toy Appeal for Grampian, Phil presented
the ITV Telethon show for three T.V. stations: Border,
Grampian and Scottish, all in 24 hrs. |

performer, writer and tour manager and is now a very
successful casting agent for major TV and film productions. |
